Exploring the wonders of the Lord’s teachings, our February 22nd Bible study was nothing short of enlightening. With the Doulos Hope team bringing their testimonies from around the world, our Landfill Community Bible Study Group was truly inspired. And to top it off, we enjoyed the heartwarming flavors of ‘Tinola’, a beloved Filipino dish that brought everyone together in fellowship.

Pagpag

“Pagpag,” a Tagalog term referring to leftover food from the garbage, has become a source of sustenance for some attendees in our Landfill Community Bible Study Group, helping to ease their hunger and meet their daily needs.

We are grateful that the Project Life Subic family is now providing lunch for everyone after our Bible study program. Moreover, the main course during our Bible study session today was all about Proverbs 1:7 which taught us that we must tremble at the Lord’s holiness and that we must always resist the pride that will take us off our path.

We’re also pleased to welcome the Doulos Hope team, who joined us today and assisted in distributing food and shared their testimonies. Doulos Hope, a ship traveling globally, shares knowledge through their book fair. They will be stationed in Subic Bay from February 11 to March 3, 2024.

Youth Group & Music Lesson

Project Life Subic strives to lay a foundation for young people to develop Christian character and helps them to know God in a deeper perspective. And it has been three months since we started our youth group and music lesson at the landfill area. It happens every Saturday at 1-4pm.

Biblical Community Development

Project Life Subic approaches Biblical Community Development with focus on spiritual, health, education, and livelihood programs. At Saturday’s Landfill event we offered a time of fellowship, music, games and food. A short health teaching was also included. At the end of the program we fed the families, and then distributed 215 bags of food and soap. We want to thank the local barangay and purok officials who helped us keep order, and to our other volunteers for all you did to make this a success!

Landfill Community Bible Study

We are blessed beyond measure as we continue to provide solid Bible teaching in the landfill area. It happens every Thursday at 10:00 in the morning!

Pictures below show how great our time was during our worship and prayers yesterday. We were surrounded by gratitude, tears, joy, and love. These people are so eager to know more about the Word, and they have the purest adoration for our Lord.
