About Us
History
Sonny and Leslie Nabong began doing projects and reaching out to those in the slums of Olongapo in 2007 while serving with an international missions agency. The growth of the ministry was rapid as leaders from the poor areas of Olongapo were identified, trained, and released to serve their communities. In 2010 a board of directors was chosen and Project Life Subic was founded and registered with the Philippine SEC as a non-profit organization. We are also recognized by the Sanggunian Bayan of both Olongapo City and Subic town.
Our primary work is to see communities impacted through spiritual, livelihood training, educational and health programs. We collaborate with churches, local government, public agencies and private organizations to bring much needed services to our community. Today we are serving in five locations in Olongapo and Subic town with 11 weekly activities. As we work together, we see lives radically changed and communities transformed by the love of Christ.
God continues to lead us and opens doors of opportunity to reach out to the less fortunate. We are connecting our participants to local churches where they continue to be discipled!
We have also recognized the need for Pastoral & Missionary Care. We provide care, hospitality and counseling to local pastors, Filipino and cross cultural missionaries. Our care house, Tirahan ng Gracia, opened in August, 2022.
