May 24 – We are deeply grateful for the success of our Outreach Community event in the Landfill area, which included a much-needed Dental and Medical Mission. Many residents expressed heartfelt thanks, especially those who had endured months of toothaches, patiently waiting for the opportunity to receive free tooth extractions—something they could not afford on their own.
In addition to the medical and dental services, we also distributed groceries, rubber boots and gloves, vitamins, medicines, slippers, feminine products, school supplies, and lunch to the community.
Kids were also very happy to receive free haircuts, as even basic grooming is something many families cannot afford. Their fresh smiles and renewed confidence were truly touching to see.
The joy on the faces of the recipients was truly heartwarming. One man, who has spent years scavenging in the dumpsite, gratefully shared how happy he was to finally receive a new pair of rubber boots and gloves—his first in years.
We are also thankful to receive welding equipment from our generous sponsors, which is a great blessing as we prepare to launch a free welding course for the community in the landfill—opening up new opportunities for livelihood and skills development.
A huge thank you to our generous partners who personally came to distribute the goods and serve the community: KTC Solutions, 7L Global, SGC, Otis Hopkins Military Lodge #10, and the Philippine Army. Your presence and support made all the difference!
