Student Sponsorship

Facts:

• 1.5 million Filipino children are out of school because of extreme poverty.
• 37 out of 100 students drop out of school before reaching grade 6 due to lack of finances.
• Education is an important key to unlocking poverty.

YOU can make  a difference in the life of a child!

We sponsor elementary, high school, and college students from the slums of Olongapo City, Philippines. This program provides tuition fees, uniforms, books and school supplies, and school project fees. We also help with field trip expenses when possible.

We emphasize parent/guardian participation. The parent of the student signs a contract committing to do their part to encourage the child to study and agrees to be a good role model for their child.  They will also attend parent /teacher meetings and provide Project Life Subic  with a copy of the student’s report card every semester.  Our sponsorship coordinator is in weekly contact with the students and will monitor the   student’s progress.
