Overview

Project Life Subic, Inc. is designated as a non-profit organization registered by the Philippine Security and Exchange Commission. We are also recognized by the Sanggunian Bayan of both Olongapo City and Subic.

Our primary work is in Community Development. We collaborate with churches, local government, public agencies and private organizations to bring much needed services to our community. Our goal is to identify, empower, and strengthen community members to help themselves and others. We do not promote dependency on people or organizations, but we teach people to access resources and equip them to share the knowledge within their own communities. As we work together, we see lives radically changed and communities transformed by the love of Christ. Join us in making a difference!

We have also recognized the need for Pastoral & Missionary Care. We provide care, hospitality and counseling to local pastors, Filipino and cross cultural missionaries. Please email us for more information on services provided.

History

We began with projects in the slums of Olongapo in 2007 while serving with an international missions agency . In 2010 a board of directors was chosen and Project Life Subic was founded and registered with the Philippine SEC as a non-profit organization. The growth of the ministry was rapid as leaders from the poor areas of Olongapo were identified, trained, and released to serve their communities. Today we are serving in four locations with 11 weekly activities addressing the spiritual, educational, health and job training needs of the poor in Olongapo and Subic. God continues to lead us in this unique community development ministry and opens doors of opportunity to reach out to the less fortunate.

Our Team

We met our staff in the slums of 12th St. Olongapo. Over the years we have seen them transformed and walking out their purpose in life. They are so grateful for God in their lives and have a passion to bring His love and Hope to others. They have attended various trainings and schools over the last few years to improve their skills. They also have been impacted and shaped by what they have learned at a local church, Church of the Risen Christ. Today they are in charge of all programs except for LightStrike and New Beginnings.
